Powerful Information is run by a small core team which is responsible to a board of trustees. We also use freelance consultants on some of our projects. We do not have in-country staff.

We have no plans to expand our core staff much beyond our current level. However, we are working hard to increase the number of local people we support in our target countries and are more than happy to collaborate closely with other Western/Northern groups with a similar philosophy and approach. In recent years we have helped sustain 20 – 25 local partners on joint projects, and they in turn have been helping literally thousands of people in towns and villages in low-income countries.

This strategy helps us to maximise the resources that go into supporting practical community projects whilst keeping our overheads to the minimum necessary for proper financial accountability and full reporting.

Milton Keynes may be a new city, but parts of it are very old. This is part of the Bradwell Abbey complex which also includes a 14th century chapel and the (much much newer) City Discovery Centre where Powerful Information has its office.
